Asset: Filling in the Test Results [09-0704]
Filling in the Test Results with Asset is straightforward. You start by tapping the white ‘+’ Test button at the bottom of the screen. So let's get started with your first Asset report ... by looking at each of the boxes in turn:
Asset ID
Start by giving your first Asset its unique ID – which can be any combination of numbers and/or characters.
Asset Description
Providing a description of the asset is optional: to do this, choose from the drop down menu, or use the ‘+’ button to add asset descriptions.
Asset Type
Next select the appropriate Asset Type from the drop-down list: this will determine which tests need to be recorded. There are 11 pre-defined options, but there is also an option to add your own asset type(s) to this list:
- Busbar
- Cable
- Circuit Breaker
- Earth Grid
- Generator
- Inverter
- Isolator Switch
- Motor
- Pump
- Transformer
- Vehicle
You can add tests of any type to any asset; you can also add the same type of test multiple times to the same asset.
Site and Location
- Adding site and location details is optional: data entered here is stored in a drop-down list ready for use another time.
- A site can have one location, many locations, or none.
