Stream live test results from Megger S1/MIT Insulation Testers [09-0000]

How to stream live test results to CertSuite Asset from the following Megger insulation testers:

  • S1-568 / S1-1068 / S1-1568
  • MIT525 / MIT1025 / MIT1525

To stream live test results you first need a Bluetooth connection: with the tester turned on, open CertSuite Asset ...

  • On the tester, turn the central rotary switch to the desired voltage setting, and the left hand rotary switch to the desired test setting
  • In CertSuite, tap the white 'plus' button, at the bottom of the screen, to add a new test
  • The 'Add New Test' screen appears
  • Tap the 'Instrument Data' button, and at the next screen the 'Bluetooth' button
  • CertSuite looks for available Bluetooth devices: serial numbers appear in the 'Instrument Data' box
  • Tap the blue button that displays the serial number matching your device
  • When the connection is made, the red 'Connect BT' button (top right of the screen) turns green, and displays the serial number in question

The 'Instrument Data' box in CertSuite gives the options of either streaming live results, or transmitting stored test results over Bluetooth:

  • Select 'Stream live results'
  • The red 'TEST' button appears in the Instrument Data screen, with the instruction 'Press TEST for 3 seconds to start streaming'
  • Moving to the tester, press and hold for 3 seconds the red 'TEST' button
  • The test results will appear almost immediately in CertSuite Asset, in the form of graphs and tables
  • You can scroll through the test results, with the data points accumulating as the streaming progresses

Press the red 'TEST' button on the tester to stop the streaming

  • Once the button is pressed, the 'Instrument Data' panel will display in CertSuite, with the message: 'Stream Complete: Add to stored Tests on device?'
  • Tap the 'Yes' or 'No' button, directly below, according to preference
  • If 'Yes' is tapped, the test results that have just been streamed to Asset will also be available for downloading at a later date
  • If 'No' is tapped, the tester will not store these test results

All test results can be printed from CertSuite Asset
