How to print PAT labels from the Brother P-Touch Cube [08-0402]
The Brother P-Touch Cube is a compact portable Bluetooth label printer that produces durable laminated self-adhesive labels. It pairs easily with CertSuite.
To pair CertSuite with the P-Touch Cube:
- Open the CertSuite job that you want to print
- Press the power button on the Brother printer
- Swipe down on the CertSuite screen and tap the Bluetooth symbol to pair with the printer
- CertSuite will begin looking for the printer: the ID will start ‘PT-P710BT’
- Tap 'Pair' when the 'Bluetooth pairing request' modal appears
When CertSuite has paired with the printer:
- Tap the black 'Enable Print' button on the top header bar
- The 'Print Label' modal appears, with a list of the compatible printers available
- Tap the printer with the correct ID (there may be only one option here)
The ‘Print Label’ screen appears, with a list of compatible printers:
- Select your P-Touch Cube from the list (it may be the only one listed)
- When the Cube is ready to print, the print button appears in CertSuite (on the right hand side of the Job Title bar)
- Tap the print button to begin printing (note that if you need to stop printing at any time you can tap the black ‘Disable Print' button on the top header bar)
- The printer now produces a laminated self-adhesive label, with a QR code and essential job details
Note that whenever the QR code is scanned, CertSuite will open that job (provided the same client is selected).
Note also that the process for printing labels, using the Brother P-Touch Cube, is exactly the same for both CertSuite Asset and CertSuite PAT.
