How to print PAT labels from the Brother P-touch E560BT [08-0401]
The Brother E560BT is a robust and reliable hand-held industrial label printer, which produces durable laminated self-adhesive labels. It comes with Bluetooth, and pairs easily with CertSuite.
Note that your printer must first be paired with your Android or iOS device: you cannot print from a laptop browser, using Windows etc.
To pair CertSuite with the E560BT:
- Press the power button on the printer
- Use your device’s Bluetooth feature to pair with the printer
- You can find your E560BT printer ID on the base of the printer: the ID will always start ‘PT-E560BT’
- When prompted, confirm that the passkey on your device matches the one displayed on the printer
- Tap ‘Pair’, and then press the ‘OK’ key on the printer to confirm pairing
The ‘Print Label’ screen appears, with a list of compatible printers:
- To print labels, first tap the black ‘Enable Print’ button in CertSuite
- The ‘Print Label’ modal appears, with a list of compatible printers: select your printer from the list
- When CertSuite is ready to print, the blue ‘print label’ button appears. It remains visible when you open different assets in the same job, so there is no need to reconnect!
Connecting to a different printer:
- Note that tapping ‘Disable Print’ disconnects the printer – the blue ‘print label’ button disappears
- When you next tap ‘Enable Print’, CertSuite will try to reconnect to the last printer that was used
- To select a different printer, tap the blue account button (top right of the screen) to open the main menu, and then tap ‘Print Settings’
- To remove the last-connected printer (1) tap ‘Clear’ when the ‘Label Printing’ modal appears, and then (2) tap ‘Enable Print’, to select a new printer from (3) the list of paired printers

Printing labels:
- Once the blue ‘print label’ button appears in CertSuite, the asset that is open can be printed
- Tap the ‘print label’ button and the printer displays the message ‘Receiving – Please wait’ ...
- … and then next the message ‘Printing – Please wait’
- The printer then produces a label with a QR code: scan the code, and CertSuite will either open the relevant asset in the job that you have open, or add the asset to a new job (with the same client)
- The P-Touch produces durable laminated self-adhesive labels for both PAT and Asset jobs
Note also that the process for printing CertSuite PAT and Asset labels using the Brother E560BT is exactly the same.
