How to print PAT labels from the Brother P-Touch E560BT [08-0401]
The Brother E560BT is a robust and reliable hand-held industrial label printer, which produces durable laminated self-adhesive labels. It comes with Bluetooth, and pairs easily with CertSuite.
To pair CertSuite with the E560BT:
- Open the CertSuite job that you want to print
- Press the power button on the printer
- Swipe down on the CertSuite screen
- Tap the Bluetooth symbol to pair with the printer
- Then tap the printer ID in the list of available devices: note that the ID will always start ‘PT-E560BT’
CertSuite now starts pairing with the printer:
- When prompted, confirm that the passkey in CertSuite matches the one displayed on the printer
- Tap ‘Pair’ in CertSuite, and then press the ‘OK’ key on the printer to confirm pairing
- Tap ‘Enable Print’ in CertSuite
The ‘Print Label’ screen appears, with a list of compatible printers:
- Select your E560BT from the list (it may be the only one listed)
- When the set up is ready to print, the print button appears in CertSuite
- Note that if you need to stop printing at any time you can tap ‘Disable Print'
- Tap the print button to begin printing
- The printer displays the messages ‘Receiving – Please wait’, and and then ‘Printing – Please wait’, before producing a label with a QR code
Note that whenever this code is scanned, CertSuite will open that job (provided the same client is selected). Note also that the process for printing CertSuite PAT and Asset labels using the Brother E560BT is exactly the same.
