PAT: Importing Jobs to CertSuite from a Megger PAT400 series tester [08-0201]
PAT Data can be Imported into CertSuite using the green ‘Files’ button on the Job Details page. (Data can also be Exported - see the related support article below.)
To import PAT400 data to CertSuite you must first transfer the data from your PAT400 series tester to a USB stick.
- Plug a USB stick into your PAT400.
- Open the ‘Data’ tab and select ‘Export Results to USB’.
- Name the file, and save the results.
Next plug your USB Stick into your desktop or mobile device and open CertSuite
- In CertSuite – go to the Jobs List, and select the Job to which you want to import PAT data.
- In the Job Details page tap the green ‘Files’ button.
- At the next screen tap the ‘Import File’ button.
- CertSuite opens the file storage on your device: locate the PAT400 series file – it will end ‘.csv’ - and tap it.
- The ‘.csv’ file stores every Asset from your PAT400 tester, but CertSuite groups this data by Client, making it easier to import.
- Choose which Client's data you want to import: only one Client can be imported at a time.
Data can be imported with or without test results. Select either:
- ‘Import assets with most recent test result’.
- ‘Import assets only’.
CertSuite may have results for some of the imported Assets already. In this case choose between the following three options:
- Skip leaves the original results the same.
- Merge adds missing values.
- Overwrite updates all results from the imported file, overwriting existing values.
- Note that any new Assets in the imported file are automatically added to CertSuite.
