Archive/Restore/Delete Job [03-0201]
To Archive a Job
- Jobs can be archived from both the 'Current Jobs' and 'Approved Jobs' lists
- Go to the job in question - note that you navigate between lists using the 'Current Jobs' button on the top header bar
- Go to the blue 'Actions' button (last column on the right) and select 'Archive' from the drop-down menu
- Select 'Yes' when asked to confirm
- The job will be moved from the 'Current Jobs' / 'Approved Jobs' list to the 'Archived Jobs' list
Find and Restore a Job in the Archive
- Select 'Archived Jobs' from the 'Current Jobs' button on the top header bar
- Archived jobs appear in a table just like the 'Current Jobs' table
- Either scroll down the 'Job Name' column to find the job, or else use either of the two 'Search' boxes
- Go to the blue 'Actions' button on the right
- Click 'Restore'
- The job will now appear in the 'Current Jobs' table
To Delete a Job
- Go to 'Archived Jobs'
- Select the job that you want to delete
- Go to the blue 'Actions' button on the right
- Select 'Delete' from the drop-down menu
- Click 'Yes' when asked to confirm
- The job will now be deleted. This action cannot be undone.
Note: to prevent accidental deletion, only archived jobs can be deleted. Archiving a job may be a better option than deleting it. Archived jobs can always be restored to 'Current Jobs' at a later date, and they can also be copied or re-issued from the Archive.
